Abstract

The article main goal is to indicate the numerous dilemmas of theoretical and practical nature of cross-cultural competencies (CCC). The first part of reflection focuses on the theoretical perspective - identification and defining of the notion - and begin with the context and meaning for contemporary man as well as unearthing the interdisciplinary character of cross-cultural competencies. The second paragraph involves the practical dilemmas of CCC developing that are manifested in four questions: Why is there a need to develop CCC in organization? What exactly should be developed? Who is obligated to develop CCC and who should mastermind the process? How to develop CCC?
