Abstract

The primary goal of this study is the identification of the project management amongst traditional (heavy) and modern (agile) methods of information systems analysis and design. Recently, the approach to information systems project management is changing in fast and multidirectional ways. The classic theory of analysis and design and the current pragmatics are becoming more different. It seems that the use of agile design methods, at least partially minimize arising differences. The analysis is trying to answer the identified questions in this field and showing how to select proper method for given case of project management.
