Abstract

In the article the authors present results of analyses aimed at detecting dependencies in the collected data, their graphical presentation and interpretation with the aid of Kohonen neural network. For illustration of data analyses with Kohonen techniques, examples concerning varied restaurants and catering business objects, business entities, sport facilities in provinces of Poland are presented. Analyses were performed on simple data sets as well as on more complex sets with many observations and variables. For the purpose of data analyses and the results’ interpretation, SAS software was used. Classification-JEL:
