Intelligent agencies in a virtual region

Abstract

The article presents the concept of a virtual region based on agent technologies. Megatrends that affect the socio-economic development of the information society are indicated. The key information society technologies that influence the shape of communities in agencies in the virtual region are presented. The key effect of the digital return on changes in the way of working has been highlighted and the virtual region in the field of technical, economic and social sciences has been defined.
