Abstract

The article presents the concept of synthesis of various methods, techniques and tools of artificial intelligence on the example of an integrated information system project supporting multicriteria diagnostics of technical objects. The theoretical considerations are illustrated by two practical examples. The first example presents a solution that integrates an expert system and a neural network to support the process of recognizing and assessing the quality of food products. The second concerns the concept of integration of expert systems and Business Intelligence for the needs of analysis and assessment of the quality level of machines, equipment and workplaces. The article was prepared basing on the results of project POIG.01.03.01–14–059/12.
