Abstract

The conclusions of the analysis of the software available on the market, used for dental records, have been presented. The analysis is focused on the legal requirements concerning electronic medical documentation. The most important applications for dentistry in the market today have been analyzed to meet the legal requirements contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 9 November 2015 concerning the types, scope and patterns of medical documentation and how to process them. The results indicate that some of the elements in IT systems need to be improved.
