Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the use of telemedicine among Polish healthcare providers, accounting for regional differences, interoperability, standards and funding. Unfortunately, only few healthcare providers have implemented such solutions. The authors outline some of the reasons for the current situation, discuss challenges and potential solutions for the acceleration of the development of telemedicine in Poland.
