Critical Analysis of the Current Software for Clinics and Dental Offices

Abstract

The conclusions of analysing the software available on the market for dental records have been presented. The analysis is focused on its main function, the collection of medical data, without additional functions, such as financial ones. The assessment on the basis of which the claims were made was cyclically made every 2 years for 6 years. One of the aspects of the analysis was the legal requirements for the medical documentation in the paper and electronic form. The focus was on the suitability of the software for average users with computter literacy. The most important aspect of the analysis was the degree of improvement of the doctor’s work, and thus, the increase in the profitability of the office through time saving.
