Abstract

In this paper the architecture of the distributed platform called IPMed is shown. The platform enables the aquisition and storing of anonymized medical data. The deployment results of a feasibility study in hemodynamics based on this platform are presented. The gathered data allowed the medical research team to verify its hypotheses and determine recommendation rules of treatment in ischemic stroke. The selected issues related to the implementation of the IPMed platform are shown, the encountered barriers are described and the solutions are proposed.
