The possibilities of using big data in healthcare

Abstract

This article provides an overview of big data analytics in healthcare. Firstly, the various advantages and characteristics of big data analytics used in healthcare are defined and discussed. Then, the challenges are identified. Thirdly, the areas for the potential use of big data analytics are identified and characterized. Fourthly, the architectural framework of big data analytics in healthcare is described. Lastly, the conclusions are presented.
