Abstract

The article describes the analysis of information society development in particular voivodeships in the years 2008 and 2012. Seven diagnostic variables which define different technological, economical and educational aspects were used in the research. Descriptive statistical methods and the method of comparative analysis in the form of Ward’s method were applied in the research. The Ward’s method enabled to categorise voivodeships according to the level of information society development in the examined years.
