Desarrollo agrícola y exposiciones: ¿Una relación causal?

Abstract

Throughout the nineteenth century there were many agricultural exhibitions in Spain. In this article, after showing their European origin as well as their reception in Spain, the author reports their objectives, promoters, participants, and compares them with three shows happened in Lugo (Gallia, NW Spain).It is concluded Ihe significant differences between theoretical goals and practical results.
