Mercado de trabajo, conflicto rural y sindicalismo campesino. Jerez de la Frontera, 1880-1923

Abstract

This paper is intended to immerse in the analysis of the existent relations among some variables of the agrarian economy and the social conflicts in the Andalusian land between 1880 and 1923. Taking as observing point the agrarian structure of Jerez de la Frontera, the dynamic features of the working market are analysed, in order to establish a reference frame to understand the collective action of the peasant community. In particular it is analysed the circumstances which caused the birth of conflicts, the character of the peas8nl organizations booting the mobilizations and their results in order to modify the traditional circumstances of the peasant condition.
