Abstract

This work reviews some of the main conceptualizations which have been worked out by "peasant studies" over rural society. The restriction of the very concept of the role and the expectations which domestic agriculture has with in advanced capitalism are worked. It is made a special point of the casual factors of its Survival and of the adaptation strategies developed by domestic output units.
