El Capital Social en el desarrollo local comunitario. Un estudio en comunidades rurales de Bolivia

Abstract

La investigación estudia las dimensiones del capital social en el contexto de las comunidades rurales y su desarrollo local, dada las potencialidades y recursos existentes en los territorios. La metodología aplicada es a partir de la revisión teórica interpretativa de los diversos planteamientos y las dimensiones del capital social en este ámbito. El estudio identifica a las redes como un elemento destacable en el sustrato del tejido asociativo para el desarrollo local, las organizaciones comunitarias, como formas de relacionamiento fortalecidas como principio de gestión colectiva y cooperación, y por último, la confianza hacía las organizaciones, en sus actuaciones e intervenciones en los procesos de desarrollo comunitario, donde los actores locales juegan un papel relevante en los procesos de desarrollo local de las comunidades rurales. Así, el estudio concluye haciendo especial énfasis a las dimensiones como mecanismos y elementos que determinan el desarrollo local basados en la construcción de relaciones en el capital social y el desarrollo local comunitario. The research studies the dimensions of social capital in the context of rural communities and their local development, given the potential and resources in the territories. The applied methodology is based on the theoretical revision of the different approaches and the dimensions of social capital in this area. The study identifies networks as a prominent element in the substrate of the associative fabric for local development, community organizations, as strengthened relationships as a principle of collective management and cooperation, and finally, the trust to organizations, in their Actions and interventions in community development processes, where local actors play a relevant role in the local development processes of rural communities. Thus, the study concludes with special emphasis on dimensions as mechanisms and elements that determine local development based on building relationships in social capital and local community development.
