Abstract

The aim of this paper is to show that the simple classification of the degree of urbanization published by the IGE explains well the demographic, socioeconomic and health characteristics of Galicia. For this we calculate and analyze the indicators in the areas of urbanization to see their different behavior, allowing us to compare the need and general validity of this classification.
