Abstract

After independence, India faces many problems in each sector and one of them is defence. Through time and patience, we developed and evolve, and realised our loopholes. Currently Indian military ranks 4 out of 145 in the annual global firepower index after the USA, Russia, and China.[1] To maintain, improve and upgrade the military, India’s spending on defence infrastructure is increasing year after year. The defence ministry gets one of the biggest parts of India’s funds. There is various in-house production as well as joint ventures with foreign defence companies.
