E-mail: w.siwinski@perspektywy.plМировая система рейтингования высших учебных заведений переживает переходный этап своего развития и находится в состоянии преобразования. Формирующуюся новую систему рейтингов отличают четыре основные характеристики: становление региональных рейтингов, ориентированность на запросы разных групп потребителей (будущих студентов, ученых, руководства университетов, работодателей, политиков), многоуровневое ранжирование и создание рейтингов в разных предметных областях. Одной из важных тенденций в развитии системы рейтингования является включение в международные рейтинги других аспектов деятельности образовательных организаций, помимо научных исследований. Особенно важны такие достижения, как выдающиеся результаты в преподавании и так называемая третья миссия, или социальная роль университета.
