Abstract

E-mail: vultur@mail.ruАвтор полностью солидарен с выводами исследовательницы о том, что при организации школьного дела в многонациональном сообществе необходимо учитывать особенности восточноазиатского менталитета и учебные установки восточноазиатских детей. При этом он полагает, что проведенное исследование отвечает фактически на вопрос более конкретный, чем сформулирован в заглавии книги: оно сравнивает культурные основы обучения не на Востоке и Западе, а в традиционной конфуцианской школе и современной американской, и к тому же отвлекаясь от содержания образования и его предметной структуры. В течение ближайших десятилетий у нас будет возможность оценить последствия соревнования этих двух моделей школьного обучения и выяснить, найдут ли одтверждение в реальности подспудная мысль Цзинь Ли о преимуществах конфуцианского подхода и ее прогноз о снижении творческого потенциала европейцев и американцев и притуплении их исследовательских способностей в связи со школьным старанием развить и то и другое.
