Прагматический Либерализм И Модернизация Воспитания

E-mail: asidorkin@hse.ru Рассматривается соотношение понятия воспитания с прагматическим либерализмом. Автор анализирует проблемы с продолжением традиции воспитания в современном демократическом обществе и приходит к выводу о необходимости модернизации этой традиции. Под воспитанием автор понимает целенаправленную образовательную деятельность по формированию ценностей человека. Воспитание по определению задевает глубокие слои нравственных ориентаций населения, оно затрагивает моральные и культурные ценности, в отношении которых общество в принципе не может добиться единства и согласия. Воспитание чревато конфликтами, а кроме того, его полезность для общества трудно поддается измерению. Сочетание этих двух факторов без активного вмешательства государства может привести к постепенному отмиранию практик воспитания. С точки зрения государственной политики это далеко не самый желательный результат. Для модернизации воспитания, с точки зрения автора, его следует прочно привязать к нуждам экономического и социального развития страны.
