Проректор НИУ ВШЭ, директор Института институциональных исследований НИУ ВШЭ кандидат экономических наук Мария Юдкевич рассказывает в интервью о рождении замысла и истории создания книг "Поколения ВШЭ", вышедших к 20-летию университета. Книга "Учителя об учителях" - это размышления известных ученых о той академической среде, в которой они делали первые шаги в науке. В книге "Ученики об учителях" молодые представители ВШЭ рассказывают о том учителе, который определил для каждого из них понимание идеи университета и академического пути. Первоначально очерки, которые составили эти книги, были специальным приложением к информационному бюллетеню "Окна роста" и оказались чрезвычайно востребованными читателями. В итоге в создании книг приняли участие около 100 сотрудников НИУ ВШЭ. Из книг "Поколения ВШЭ" становится ясно, что появление университета стало возможным благодаря объединению разных традиций и что сегодня эти разные традиции сосуществуют в рамках единой институции за счет открытости, академической честности, профессионализма без оглядки на дисциплинарные, институциональные и национальные границы.DOI: 10.17323/1814-9545-2014-2-256-261
