Abstract

Организация образования детей крепостных в России остается малоизученной в исторической и историко-педагогической науке. Причина тому - сохраняющиеся в обществе стереотипные представления о невнимании помещиков и государства в дореволюционный период к нуждам населения. Предлагаемая подборка документов второй половины XVIII в. посвящена различным аспектам начального обучения детей крепостных крестьян и дворовых людей в России.
