Abstract

Определить экономическую отдачу от инвестиций в человеческий капитал чрезвычайно важно как для отдельных индивидов, так и для общества в целом. В статье показано, что для корректного оценивания такого рода эффектов необходимо четко понимать, каковы микроэкономические детерминанты человеческого поведения. Без этого эмпирический анализ таких явлений, как карьерный рост, выбор вуза или формирование заработной платы, лишен целостности. Авторы обосновывают важность микроэкономических моделей выбора для изучения карьеры как процесса последовательного принятия решений, обсуждают преимущества данных моделей по сравнению с моделями агрегированных спроса и предложения. Приводятся результаты собственных исследований процесса выбора вуза, проведенных с помощью микроэкономических моделей.
