Abstract

В статье сравниваются существующие подходы к определению оптимальности валютной зоны, а также анализируется адекватность применения одинаковых количественных критериев к различным регионам, где могут быть созданы или уже функционируют валютные зоны. Анализ проводится на примере Маастрихтских критериев, применяемых в Евросоюзе. The author analyzes existing quantitative criteria of optimal currency areas and the possibility of the criteria’s application to different regions of the world where an optimal currency area can be create or has already been implemented. The analysis is based on the Maastricht criteria applied in the EU.
