Abstract

The concept of Organization Development (OD) is well established in the US. In Russia the OD theory has not gained publicity yet, and this term is often used interchangeably with ‘the development of an organization’. The aim of this article is to clarify the extent of the appreciation of OD as a theoretical concept in Russia, and the perspectives of its use in native companies.
