Abstract

The paper deals with the economic and geopolitical aspects of the Arctic development; the threats to the Russian economy in the region areidentified. Statistical data on potential threats to the security of Russia in the Arctic Region are studied. The purpose of research was toidentify potential threats to the security of Russia in the Arctic Region.The processing of the statistical data made it possible to obtain quantitative characteristics of the threats to the Russian economy.It is concluded that the trends of the Arctic area internationalization do not coincide with the national interests of Russia. The problems facing Russia in the implementation of its strategy and policy in the region are analyzed. The key directionsof activities towards defending national geopolitical and geo-economic interests areidentified. В статье рассмотрены экономические, геополитические аспекты освоения Арктики, выявлены угрозы российской экономике в Арктике. Тематика статьи охватывает исследование статистического материала о потенциальных угрозах безопасности России в Арктике. Предмет исследования - безопасность России в Арктике. Цель работы - выявление потенциальных угроз безопасности России в Арктике.В работе проведена обработка статистической информации, которая позволила дать количественные характеристики угрозам российской экономике в Арктике.Сделан вывод о тенденциях интернационализации Арктической зоны, что не совпадает с национальными интересами России. Представлен анализ проблем, с которыми сталкивается Россия при реализации своей стратегии и политики в регионе. Обозначены ключевые направления усилий по отстаиванию национальных геополитических и геоэкономических интересов.
