Abstract

The paper identifies and discusses the reasons for the declining interest of students to the study of the economic theory. The reasons include changes in the subject of the economic theory, further formalization, specialization, destructuring, vulgarization of the economic science which give rise to stereotypes and cliches in the educational process and do not correspond to modern realities thereby hindering the development of the discipline. As a result, the economic science is losing both the informative and practical, applied functions becoming a set of far-fetched economic and mathematical models and schemes divorced from the reality. This situation leads to the misbalance of interests of students, teachers and future employers. In these circumstances, according to the author, there is an urgent need to change the structure of teaching the economic theory with a clear specialization of students in practical methods of business optimization, competition, innovations promotion and product sales. В статье выделены и рассмотрены причины снижения интереса студентов к изучению такой дисциплины, как «Эко-номическая теория».К этим причинам относятся изменение предмета экономической теории, дальнейшая формализация, специализация, деструктуризация, вульгаризация экономической науки, которые приводят к появлению устойчивых стереотипов и штампов в образовательном процессе и не соответствуют современным реалиям, мешая развитию данной дисциплины. В итоге, экономическая наука утрачивает как познавательную, так и практическую, прикладную функции, превращаясь в оторванный от современной действительности набор экономико-математических моделей и схем.Такая ситуация приводит к рассогласованию интересов учащихся-студентов, преподавателей и будущих работодателей.В этих условиях, по мнению автора, требуется изменение структуры преподавания экономической теории и более четкая специализация учащихся на практических методиках, связанных с оптимизацией деятельности компаний, конкурентной борьбой, внедрением инноваций и реализацией продукции фирмы.
