Abstract

В статье обобщаются итоги международной научно-практической конференции «Статистические методы в гуманитарных и экономических науках» (28-29 января 20'6 г., Санкт-Петербург). Рассмотрена тематика и содержание ряда научных сообщений. Приведены аргументы и направления развития в целях повышения роли статистики и статистических методов научного познания в современном мире, значения статистических дисциплин в преподавании экономистам и гуманитариям в высших учебных заведениях.
