Abstract

The author analyses the feasibility of various modeling methods of foreign economic activity in the regional profile. She considers intersectoral balance models of competitive import type to be important research problems. The procedure of the computation of international comparative advantage index enables us to define the level of influence that each group of tradable goods has upon the creation of a positive (negative) perceived image of a region. The author shows the specifics of different procedures for the computation of intrasectoral trade level in foreign economic activity and the index of bilateral trade with the conterparty countries.
