Abstract

The current demographic trends lead to the growing number of senior citizens. This factor inevitably brings about changes in the state politics, in particular in taxation policy; the changes are an intraspecific result of the population pressure. The author examines Diamond's generation lap model and studies the effect of demographic changes in the context of endogenous solution of efficient social expenses. The article shows the influence of demographic changes upon the behavior and personality of average voter. The model is also used for the appraisal of the national projects currently carried out in Russia.
