Abstract

The work analyses the trends and conditions of transition of the modern society to a new type of economy: the Information economy. The reasons for the emerging of the new economy type, based on the informational integration of the society, are investigated. Lines of development of the information technologies in the developed markets are studied, the key factors determining conditions of development of the information society are specified. The article reveals the principles of the further formation of the outlined economy type.
