Abstract

In article the author, on concrete examples of place names of various districts of the animals connected with names, opens possibilities of a toponymic method of scientific research in studying of regularities of development of landscapes of Kazakhstan in historical times. As a result on the basis of the analysis of toponyms it is revealed that among the place names connected with names of animals first of all the toponyms reflecting the hunting prmyslovy types of local fauna prevailed. Recommendations for reacclimatization of some animal species in reserved zones of Kazakhstan at the present stage are offered.
