Abstract

Revealed that the most developed are the south-east regions of Ukraine. They have comparatively high level of profitability and rational branch-wise structure. At their expense is regulated profitability of other regions with disproportionate branch-wise structure. Proved that the basis for that regional economies is oligarchic system property, which is directly related to overly centralized state power. Together with the conflicts between the oligarchs who define the political structure of the country, this has led to socio-economic and political crisis in Ukraine and its regions.
