Abstract

The article presents the findings of an EDB-sponsored research project entitled “Macroeconomic Evaluation of Eurasian Integration Impacts on National Competitive Potentials within the Region.” The research is based on a proprietary aggregated model for competitive potential evaluation in EAEU countries enabling an assessment of the current prospects for expansion of integration interactions between the association’s member states in the area of trade cooperation. The findings indicate that the largest potential competitive gains in EAEU countries coalesce around production factors, which dictates the need to advance production cooperation in addition to trade integration.
