Abstract

В материале рассматриваются перспективы реализации транзитного потенциала железнодорожного транспорта государств членов ЕЭП, развитие инфраструктуры железнодорожного транспорта и высокоскоростных магистралей (ВСМ). В частности, авторы отмечают, что отставание в развитии инфраструктуры железных дорог ЕЭП, которое выражается и в отсутствии выделенных ВСМ, замедляет развитие экономики и препятствует реализации возможностей по увеличению мобильности населения. Осуществление проектов создания высокоскоростных магистралей может внести вклад в устранение «узких мест» транспортной системы и снять ограничения экономического роста. В соответствии с разработанной в 2014 году Евразийской экономической комиссией «Транспортной политикой единого экономического пространства на период до 2020 года: время действий» сеть ВСМ должна соединить Минск, Москву, Екатеринбург, Астану и Алматы с возможным выходом в дальнейшем на Китайскую Народную Республику.
