Improvement of efficiency of a quality management system at a trading enterprise

Abstract

Quality is the most important characteristic of product competitiveness. Of old the priority was the price, but nowadays quality is the main factor of the international market. Improvement of Ukrainian company competition and tendency for the international market penetration are accompanied by increased interest in implementation of quality management systems, based on ISO 9000. This standard is characterized by universality and applicability for organizations of any kinds. Implementation of quality management systems allows to receive benefits on tenders, to improve management systems and optimize production processes. First step to implementation quality management systems is to determine its place in a general company strategy. It should be realized within the confines of TQM (Total Quality Management) principles. TQM is quality-based management method, that allows to involve all the staff and reach the long-term success by satisfaction of customers needs. Thus quality management system on trading enterprise should solve the problems of standardization of goods, ensure compliance with the requirements of consumers, create favorable conditions for the presentation of goods to consumers, to eliminate the adverse actions, that is, to ensure the highest probability of high quality goods and services.
