Systematization of factors impact on the economic security of railway transport

Abstract

The article analyzes the changes in the volume of freight and passenger transportation by railway transport in Ukraine and made the conclusions concerning the strengthening of the negative dynamics of the development of the railway sector and growth of crisis situations in production and business activities of the railways. Due to negative changes that are taking place in the socio-economic environment are studied and systematized factors of influence on the economic security of the railway transport on the following hierarchical levels: global, national, regional, business and internal environment. Determined that the main endogenous cause of the critical state of Ukrainian railways is that the in industry not promptly implement structural reforms. As a consequence the railway industry works on the old principles that do not meet current world trends in organization of work of railway transport, make it functioning inefficient and complicate subsequent development, constraining investment inflow into the industry, make it impossible cooperation with private companies. Disclosed the priority tasks of ensuring economic security of railway transport.
