Abstract

Одну из своих лекций (Оклахома, 1929 г.) Дж. Мэйнстринг начал с легендарной фразы: «Вы думаете, что экономика унылая наука? Вы просто не изучали химию!» Продолжая традиции великого калифорнийский экономиста, я предлагаю вам цикл научно-популярных лекций по экономической теории, прочитанных мною в разные годы в г. Новосибирске. Вторая лекция посвящена рассмотрению базового принципа экономической теории, принципа редкости, ставшего обоснованием необходимости экономического выбора. В лекции рассмотрены отношения между основополагающими экономическими категориями: потребности, мотивы, цели, ресурсы, блага, экономический выбор. Вы узнаете, как правильно поставить цель, которая приведет вас к успеху. Понимание мотивов поможет вам преуспеть в управлении людьми. При внимательном прочтении вы откроете для себя рецепты продажи «непродаваемого»; узнаете, почему следует скрывать от работников заработную плату коллег; а также поймете психофизиологические причины, по которым мы становимся «ненасытными потребителями».
