Abstract

Статья посвящена проблемам общественного выбора, связанным с влиянием сырьевой специализации на общественное и экономическое развитие. Сырьевая специализация рассматривается как одна из главных причин утверждения в ряде стран третьего мира тоталитарных режимов и снижения уровня демократии в некоторых других странах. Данная идея доказывается при помощи сравнительного анализа эмпирических данных и модифицированной модели А. Льюиса.
