Abstract

Несостоятельность экономических реформ трансформационного периода обусловливает обращение к проблеме "обрессоривания" социального напряжения внутри страны. Надежды реформаторов на то, что рыночный механизм сам обеспечит материальную базу для решения социальных проблем, не оправдались. Отсутствие четкой социальной политики обусловило социальную деградацию, что, в свою очередь, пагубно сказалось на экономическом развитии общества. Статья направлена, прежде всего, на выявление идентичности рынка и государства как экономического и социального институтов.
