Abstract

К середине ХХ века во всём мире возникла проблема, связанная с отсутствием стандартов, предъявляющих единые требования при производстве продукции и оказании услуг. С целью разработки международных стандартов, необходимых для содействия международной торговле и техническому прогрессу, в 1946 году была создана Международная организация по стандартизации (International Organization for Standardization или ISO). С 1980-х годов одним из приоритетных направлений в работе ИСО стала разработка серии стандартов, направленных на создание системы качественного управления предприятиями.
