Abstract

В английских источниках слово technology употребляется весьма широко: уровень развития техники, способ производства продукции, отрасль, производящая эту продукцию, сама продукция. В переводе с греческого ("технэ" ремесло, "логос" наука) означает науку о производстве. Классическое определение технологии рассматривает ее как науку о способах переработки сырья и материалов в средства производства и предметы потребления. Другие авторы дополняют "способ производства, включающий методы и приемы использования машин, оборудования, технических средств для обработки сырья, материалов и полуфабрикатов при получении готовой продукции".
