Abstract

В статье акцентируется внимание на теоретические аспекты развития и размещения производительных сил и региональной экономики. Рассматриваются основные причины зарождения региональной экономики как экономической науки и ее противоречивые взаимоотношения с экономической географией по поводу размещения производства в качестве общего предмета исследования. Дается современная трактовка содержания предмета региональной экономики.
