Abstract

В последние десятилетия в развитии сельских пространств регионов России происходит их сжатие. Эти территориальные сдвиги приводят к концентрации сельского населения и экономической поляризации сельских территорий. Формируется их очагово-ареальный опорный каркас. Существует несколько основных параметров сжатия сельских территорий, но прямым индикатором физического сжатия освоенных территорий является динамика землепользования. Фрагментация и расслоение внегородского пространства происходит по оси «пригород периферия». Орловская область, являясь типичным регионом Нечерноземной России, имеет все атрибуты сжатия.
