Abstract

В статье показана роль пребридинга на первом этапе селекции. Кратко изложены основные приоритетные направления селекции яблони во ВНИИСПК. При создании иммунных к парше сортов используются современные методы отбора, при селекции на улучшение биохимического состава плодов положительный результат получен от ступенчатых (сложных) скрещиваний. Показана перспективность получения триплоидных сортов от разнохромосомных скрещиваний. При создании суперинтенсивных садов важную роль играют колонновидные сорта.
