Abstract

Статья посвящена анализу многосторонней деятельности тридцать второго президента США в различных сферах жизнедеятельности американского общества и мировой политики. Рассматривается создание Рузвельтом знаменитого «Нового курса», что позволило сформировать новую модель рыночного хозяйства с опорой на мощь государственного регулирования. Автор предпринимает подход к оценке реформ «100 дней» с позиций современной научной методологии. В статье раскрывается деятельность Рузвельта в условиях назревания и в ходе Второй мировой войны, в сфере организации науки, при строительстве Манхэттенского инженерного округа. Автор делает вывод о фундаментальном значении в настоящее время наследия Великого президента.
