Abstract

Модернизация экономики государства во многом определяется состоянием и динамикой развития промышленности, в первую очередь крупных предприятий, составляющих ее основу. В России значительная часть таких предприятий находится в так называемых монопрофильных населенных пунктах или моногородах, в которых более 25% активного населения работает на производстве, дающем более 50% объема в рамках единого технологического процесса. Большинство российских моногородов оказались не готовы к вызовам новой экономической системы государства, а финансовый кризис 2008 года показал неспособность городов справиться с возникшими проблемами самостоятельно. Правительством РФ в 2010 г. дан старт программе мер по реструктуризации экономики моногородов. Поэтому вызывает интерес международный опыт и главное полученные уроки решения проблем моногородов, важно также проанализировать первые итоги модернизации моногородов в России.
