Abstract

В статье приводятся количественные и качественные характеристики действующего жилищного фонда и объемы строительства жилья. Динамика цен на рынке жилья сопоставляется с возможностями его приобретения населением с помощью собственных и заемных средств. Обсуждаются различные направления увеличения объемов жилищного строительства и предлагается усиление роли государства в развитии строительной индустрии. Рассматриваются проблемы ипотечного кредитования и меры государственной поддержки отдельных категорий населения по улучшению жилищных условий.
