Abstract

The paper estimates the role of monopolies in regulation of market relations and competition in the market for the production and sale of shoes and chocolate. It arrives at a conclusion that an increase in prices decreases demand for products, and thus producers make less profits. One solution to such a problem might be to raise the prices for products together with improvement of their consumer characteristics
