Abstract

Южный федеральный округ, имея уникальное геополитическое положение и природноклиматические условия для промышленного развития, слабо использует свой ресурсный потенциал. В сентябре 2011 г. была принята « Стратегия социально-экономического развития Южного федерального округа на период до 2020 года », в которой стратегическая цель развития ЮФО определена как превращение округа в одного из российских лидеров инновационного развития, в оплот стабильности и конструктивного российского влияния в Кавказском макрорегионе, Черноморском и Каспийском бассейнах, названы основные проблемы, сдерживающие экономический рост ЮФО, а также намечены направления модернизации экономического развития региона.
